About the Author Major Chris Wilbeck is a serving US Army armor officer assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division. He is a veteran of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, in which he served as a Scout Platoon Leader in the 3d Armored Division. He has also completed tactical assignments with the 1st Armored Division and the 3d Infantry Division. Major Wilbeck is a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College and the School of Advanced Military Studies. He holds a Masters in Business Administration, and Master of Military Arts and Sciences degrees in Military History and Theater Operations. He is currently serving in Iraq.
